Situated about 150 km from Cape Town on the West Coast Road, the town is the centre of the West Coast and a real happy place to visit and stay in.

It is surrounded by the world famous West Coast fynbos, wheat fields of the Swartland and dairy and sheep farms. It is also renowned for its exquisite residential properties and growing industrial area, due to its position.

In this edition Louis Matthys, aquaponics and aquaculture farmer invites viewers to visit the town – and make it their home. He explains the role of hydroponics in his business where he cultivates a variety of vegetables. He has a dream to expand his aquaponics business to make it accessible for the whole community
