This urban worm farm vermicomposting windrow really has me excited. I see it as a wonderful way to turn compost not into only worm castings, but increase population.
As the pile stays moist and warm the worms can travel freely to wherever they feel most at home.
It’s been about 5 days since released the worms and they survived a few very cold mornings.
When I checked them they seemed quite active, which is a great sign.
I believe that when Spring comes the population is going to boom.
