Urban Transitions Alliance – Dortmund Challenge Introduction Webinar: Climate urgency response

The Urban Transitions Alliance is supporting Dortmund’s climate team in implementing climate relevance assessments across the city administration. Key challenges arise around the complexity of such assessments, capacity in different departments, economic realities, and a common understanding of roles and responsibilities in the process. Across the Alliance, the citywide implementation of transition strategies has taken many forms and often varies due to different administrative structures. In the webinar, successful approaches to cross-departmental collaboration on sustainability strategies were shared from the cities of Pittsburgh (USA), Turku (Finland) and Bristol (UK)
