Singapore imports 90% of the food its civilians consume. Due to recent food shortages though, there has been an uprise of food projects that are attempting to help keep food production and storage within the country. Edible Garden City is one such organization that is working to create more sustainable options for food production in the country. Using a series of sustainable farming techniques with a low ecological footprint they’re set on changing how food is produced in Singapore and ultimately, the world.
