The Urban Fabric: A Complex and Opportune Nexus

0

This session aims to introduce the Resilient Cities and Human Settlements engagement priority and implications for the GEO community and the GWP. Using the city of Yerevan, Armenia as its focus, the session will hear from local stakeholders on their current needs, gaps, trends and linkages as well as how GEO can support this city and others moving forward. The session will use the nexus concept to show how the Resilient Cities and Human Settlements priority can itself be a tool for integrating GEO efforts across the priorities of sustainability, climate action, and disaster risk reduction, as well as across GWP activities.
