Today we’re going to check out Friendly Hills Farm to see what they’re all about! We plan to try out one of their products, tell you how & where to purchase their products, and a little bit of backstory on this local small business. If you’re a foodie in the Whittier (or greater Los Angeles) area, you need to check out this farm!

Friendly Hills Farm was founded in 2020 during the pandemic, when Brandon Peralta decided to start a farm in the Friendly Hills neighborhood here in Whittier, CA after many years of considering it. They do not use GMOs or pesticides. Their fresh produce, dressings, etc. are available at our local coffee shop, Lift roasters. They have a refrigerated section that maintains some of their stock, and we’ll give you more details on how to get ahold of their products in the video. Check out their website for more info as well! https://www.friendlyhillsfarm.com/

We purchased their chimichurri from Lift Coffee Roasters and decided to make filet mignon steaks with chimichurri on top. We used our handy dandy MEATER, aka wireless high-temp meat thermometer, to make sure we get the steaks cooked how we like.
