SUSSEX YOUNG CHEF OF THE YEAR 2016

Top young chefs in Sussex aged 16-25 were nominated to take part in a Masterchef-style cook off hosted at the Amex by Sodexo Prestige on 29 October 2015 as part of the Sussex Food & Drink Awards 2016. The three Grand Finalists, chosen for their superb preparation and presentation of a locally sourced menu, were Stephanie Haywood from Ockenden Manor, Cuckfield; Michael Sutherland from The Sussex Ox, Polegate; and Ryan Tomlinson from The Pass at South Lodge Hotel, Lower Beeding. The winner was revealed at the Sussex Food & Drink Awards 2016 10th birthday banquet – Sussex Young Chef of the Year 2016 is Ryan Tomlinson!
