In an increasingly urban world, we need new approaches to understanding and tackling environmental challenges. PhD students in the Boston University URBAN Program (BU URBAN) study topics such as climate change, air and water pollution, and extreme weather events with the goal of finding innovative, interdisciplinary solutions with and for cities.
