January farm vlog: Naughty sheep, shed organizing, and wool in soil blocks?!

Hi from the farm! Organizing always feels good after the New Year! We’ve really needed to do the exciting job of cleaning out our shed (welcome to flower farming, the “what’s in your shed?” edition!)! Unfortunately the naughty sheep boys beat us to it! Don’t worry, no naughty sheep were harmed in the making of the video, though I was when they stepped on my foot.

Speaking of sheep, we’ve been experimenting with using wool in the garden–wool not only has great abilities to retain water, it also has slow-release nitrogen, so we are giving wool pellets a test in our soil block recipe! Stay tuned for tests with another peat-free recipe. Stay tuned for results of the new soil blocking recipe–thanks for coming by the farm, we will see you soon!
