He quit the music business to open a nursery in the 1970s : Desert Theater Cactus Nursery

0

It was the early 1970s in northern California where the orange sunshine lit the sky and hearts and minds of a generation. Jay Jackson and his wife Cactus Kate decided to leave the music shop and recording studio behind and go out on what I can only call a cactus quest. But anyway they left the old life behind to embark on a quest to grow and sell cactus. The nursery has since changed hands and is now owned and operated by Brandon Bullard down in Vista California. Open to the public and chock full of epic landscape plants as well as many other cool finds. I hope you enjoy todays nursery tour episode. Brandon also drops a few horticultural how toโ€™s as we tour the second massive 3200 square foot growing facility. A legendary cactus nursery.
