GBC Continues City Building Efforts on TO's Waterfront w/ Limberlost Place | George Brown College

0

Toronto’s East Bayfront is a community where you can work, live, play and learn. George Brown College (GBC) is a big reason this is such a great place to be, and our mass-timber building, Limberlost Place, will make it even better.

George Brown President Dr. Gervan Fearon and Senior Vice President of External Relations, Communications and Real Estate Joe Cressy outline how our net zero carbon emissions building will provide an amazing new learning space for GBC students and benefit the entire city.

Limberlost Place will house a new community childcare facility and a research hub called the Brookfield Sustainability Institute. This is where we will work with government, non-profit organizations and corporations to develop solutions to challenges created by climate change.

Waterfront Toronto’s Vice President of Design Pina Mallozzi shares what she thinks Limberlost Place will contribute to the surrounding community.
