We had an interview with Mr Chakrapani IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Karnataka who is in fact a highly knowledgeable person. We had a detailed interview which went on for 30 minutes and was fully informative. He gave valuable input on topics like Forest cover VS tree Cover, human intrusions in forest, encroachments, status of Indian Forests, Problems with tree protection, Climate change and forests etc
