Major parts of North India have reported loss of life and property due to relentless rains. More death and destruction was reported on Monday from many parts of the region. Torrential rains have killed at least 42 people in the last 72 hours.
As per the latest by the flood control department in the national capital, Delhi, the water level of the Yamuna river in the region has triggered an orange alert. The water levels of the river breached the danger mark of 205.33 millimetres and were recorded at 206.04 millimetres.
