Watch as Olin College first year Daeyoung Kim ‘26 shares his story about creating the future through engineering, as part of Engineers Week 2023.
Daeyoung intends to change the world by integrating software solutions into clean climate technology, and he’s getting a jump start on it now as part of Olin’s Public Interest Technology Club (PiNT). He’s currently helping the group to develop the software for a hydroponics system housed in the Miller Academic Building! Through that initiative he’s collaborating with others on campus and working to make a better space for people – in terms of community and also in terms of food justice and urban agriculture.
