Climate impact is a global phenomenon that largely impact urban life. Sustainability has always been a part of Singapore’s DNA as early as 1967 with a vision of a “Garden City”. Education is the best way to create awareness.
We have shared on examples of climate impacts. We have covered on the 2 nation’s initiatives below:
1. Green plan 2030 is our nation effort to achieve a long term goal to achieve a net-zero emission.
2. Circular manufacturing and economy – The plan is to has a 10 years plan for Singapore manufacturing to grow by 50% by the year 2030.
To create a sustainable Singapore future, the most effective way is to create awareness and passion through education. Creating a sustainability citizenry is a new norm.
