About this Event

Methane accounts for around 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions, behind only carbon dioxide. As methane is both more potent and shorter-lived than carbon dioxide, near-term efforts to reduce emissions of methane could slow the increase in global temperature in the next few decades. Join us for a conversation about anthropogenic sources of methane, the role of methane in climate change, and potential actions to reduce methane emissions in the U.S. by the private sector, public sector, and individuals. Participants will be announced soon.
