CityZen Impact Workshop #01: Antonio C. R. Soria – Creativity & Urban Farming business modelling
Antonio Carlos Ruiz Soria, International Economist expert in creativity and sustainable development at Economia Creativa, Spain, presented creative societies and the role of urban farming in them. How can urban farming be a key driver for creative societies and shaping our new reality (food security, sustainability, active citizenship, lively neighbourhoods..), especially in light of crises like COVID-19? How can urban farming startups optimize funding with dynamic and creative approaches like crowdfunding, social corporate responsibility from multinational corporations, or cooperatives, etc?
CityZen is a project funded by Interreg Europe. It aims to promote urban farming as a driving force for social and economic change in 5 regions.
