What are possible futures for climate justice in cities? Please join us for a lecture with Dr. Jennifer Rice (University of Georgia) and Dr. Josh Long (Southwestern University) that explores answers to this question, critically looking at the possibilities for addressing the climate crisis in a way that centers social and economic justice. Jennifer Rice is an urban geographer interested in concrete strategies for social and environmental justice. Josh Long is an interdisciplinary human geographer with research interests in climate justice, critical sustainability, urban studies, place-based studies, and environmental justice. Dr. Rice and Dr. Long have been long-time collaborators who have authored many publications together, including their newest book with UGA Press, Urban Climate Justice.
