The need for smart/Urban Farming in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Hello everyone, my name is Oghale Ibhawoh The need for Smart/Urban farming in Birmingham.

Hello everyone, this is my pitch for the Aston University Enterprise Scholarship.

Have you ever thought about where your food comes from? In many urban areas, the answer is often from far away, requiring significant transportation and contributing to carbon emissions. This is a problem for both the environment and the economy.

That’s where urban farming comes in. By growing fresh produce in cities and towns, we can reduce the carbon footprint of food transportation and provide locally-grown, healthy food for residents. Our solution is to start an urban farming business in Birmingham.

We will use innovative techniques such as hydroponics and vertical farming to maximize space and productivity. We will work with local restaurants, grocery stores, and farmers markets to sell our produce and build a sustainable local food system.

Our goal is not just to make money, but to make a positive impact on the environment and the community. By investing in urban farming, we can build a more sustainable and prosperous future for Birmingham. Thank you for your time.
