A roundtable dialogue: Indigenous Peoples’ Perspectives and Experiences on Loss and Damage
Indigenous Peoples are severely impacted by climate change yet have had few opportunities to dialogue with bodies addressing Loss and Damage, such as the WIM. This roundtable intends to exchange views, experiences, and information to build mutual understanding and enable effective engagement.
Representatives of the Indigenous Peoples’ Constituency from 7 socio-cultural regions, relevant experts, and WIM members will participate in a dialogue to share information and develop recommendations for the inclusion of Indigenous Peoples’ expertise in relevant Loss and Damage processes
