The research presents the importance of trees as an indicator for urban climate change. The aim of the research is to understand the importance of trees, highlighting the trees species selection as an indicator for urban climate change. Furthermore, the understanding of how the trees become and role played by the urban tree as an indicator for urban climate change. The comparison of species selection, native and introduce species, need to be understand, in order to determine the best option
for urban landscape. The trees plays an important role in urban landscape design to address the urban resilience. Besides, the trees is required in urban landscape design to rejuvenate the urban
landscape through the selection of trees species. Then, the trees can control the climate change in the urban area. This research will employ a quantitative research method which consists of a survey
questionnaire, and observation. The study will help to add valuable knowledge and it is hoped to help urban design studies to understand the importance of trees as an indicator for urban climate change.
